A good quality of life depends on many things. Some things we can change. Others we can’t.
For people with health challenges, easy access to reliable and up to date knowledge about health is an essential ingredient for quality of life. It is an area we can organise much better for rare bone conditions. Health information enables us to take charge of our health. The goal of the CARE4BONES ACADEMY is that high quality health information is readily available. All the time. For as many rare bone conditions as possible.
This is critical for
– people living with a rare bone condition and their relatives
– healthcare providers who often don’t have a lot of experience dealing with this rare bone condition
– researchers will benefit from it
– also companies who are working on improving health outcomes for a condition will appreciate the information.
This is what the CARE4BONES ACADEMY is providing for you.
The Academy has been developed by the CARE4BONES Foundation. The organisaion is dedicated to making high quality knowledge available for everyone with an interest in a rare bone condition. To start, we focus on Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Over time we will also include HPP, XLH, FD-MAS, FOP and more rare bone conditions.
The CARE4BONES ACADEMY is an elearning environment, which offers:
- Easy-to-follow courses and other resources about rare bone conditions and the latest treatments and health technologies.
- Flexible learning—study at your own pace, in any order, and from anywhere in the world.
- Access to all content, with the option to earn certificates and track your progress.
- Constantly refreshed and updated based on the interest of the users.
